Job Role: Trainee Metal Worker Location: LE2, Leicester Salary: National Minimum Wage Hours: Full-time - 07:30am to 4pm Mon to Thu / Finish at 3pm on Friday
Are you looking to build a hands-on career in manufacturing? We're offering a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Trainee Metal Worker in the LE2 area.
This is an entry-level role, ideal for someone looking to start their career in the engineering and fabrication industry. Full training will be provided.
What You'll Be Doing:
Assisting with the fabrication and assembly of sheet metal components
Learning how to operate machinery such as press brakes, guillotines, and hand tools
Reading and interpreting basic technical drawings (training provided)
Supporting the workshop team with general duties and housekeeping
Developing an understanding of health & safety in a manufacturing environment

A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
A genuine interest in a career in engineering or manufacturing
Punctual, reliable, and a good team player
No prior experience required - just the right attitude
