Pay: £90 £105 per day
Are you a Psychology graduate looking to kick-start your career in education or child development? A supportive school in Booker, High Wycombe (HP12) is seeking a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with pupils who have special educational needs, while making a real difference in their academic and personal growth.
What You ll Be Doing:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND, including autism, ADHD, and speech & language needs
- Implement strategies to promote emotional regulation and positive behaviour
- Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals to deliver tailored interventions
- Track progress and adapt support to meet individual needs
- Foster an inclusive and nurturing learning environment
Who We re Looking For:
- A Psychology graduate (or related field) with a strong interest in child development and SEN
- Empathetic, patient, and proactive approach to supporting learners
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Previous experience in a school or care setting is desirable but not essential
