We are working with an excellent Primary School in the heart of the diverse, multicultural and forward-thinking London borough of Camden. The school are renowned in the local area as one of the best primary schools, which goes above and beyond for every pupil and every staff member, with a rich and diverse curriculum. This is an ASAP Start position for the full academic year.

The school are looking for x5 recent Psychology Graduates to support pupils with a wide variation of needs including Autism (ASD), PMLD (Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties), SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties), Speech and Language (SP&L), Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and more!

Job Description:

  • Psychology Graduate
  • SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Support students with SEN such as ASD, PMLD, SLD, SP&L etc
  • Working alongside the Teachers and the SENDCO regarding pupil progress
  • Promote a stimulating and safe learning environment for the pupils
  • Conducting both group and 1:1 intervention sessions
  • Liaising with the school's therapists
  • ASAP Start - Full Time - Full academic year
  • 105 - 110 per day
  • Located within the Borough of Camden

Person Specification:

  • Childcare-related experience is desirable
  • You MUST be resilient, patient, calm-natured, empathetic & adaptable
  • A hardworking and driven individual who will exceed all expectations of the role requirements.
  • Experience in supporting children (4-18) with SEN - Autism, PMLD, SLD, SP&L is Ideal
  • Future career ambitions to become an Educational Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Therapist, Well Being Practitioner etc
