Trainee Accountant to support their diverse portfolio of clients.

In this role, you ll gain hands-on experience across a variety of accountancy tasks and client types, working closely with experienced professionals and receiving full study support to develop your career.
Key Responsibilities - Work closely with Managers and Directors to provide accounting support across a range of client accounts.
- Assist with the completion of payrolls and VAT returns, ensuring accurate and timely submissions to HMRC.
- Support clients with bookkeeping and cloud software, including invoice processing and bank reconciliations.
- Contribute to the preparation of accounts and self-assessment tax returns.
- Undertake general office administration including filing and database management.
- Identify opportunities for new business and referrals across the wider firm.
- Adapt and contribute as required in a fast-growing accountancy team.
What You ll Need - Experience: 1+ years in an accountancy practice.
- Qualifications: AAT Level 2 or 3 is desirable.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and a methodical approach to your work.
- Communication: Confident, personable, and professional with clients and colleagues.
- Mindset: Eager to learn, take feedback, and grow within a supportive team.
- Organisation: Able to manage your workload, multitask, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Confidentiality: Always maintains discretion and professionalism.
