Trainee Fabricator
Tonbridge
c.£25k-32k DOE
Hours 6.30am 4pm Monday Friday (overtime possible weeknights and Saturday mornings)
Fantastic exclusive opportunity for a Trainee Fabricator/Welder to join a successful, established organisation who cultivate a great working environment, based in Tonbridge.
Duties include:
- Working in a busy Workshop environment using a range of hand tools
- Reading technical drawings
- Supporting the fabrication process, learning the process within a metal fabrication environment
- Maintaining the highest quality whilst working to productivity targets
- Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment
- Providing support to the wider team as required
- Carrying out Quality Control checks as and when required
- Working to all health and safety rules and regulations
The right candidate will have/ be:
- Some relevant experience in a practical/hands on role
- An interest in mechanical engineering ideally a relevant qualification
- An awareness of working in a factory/workshop environment
- The desire to build a career within a business long term
- Strong attention to detail
- An enthusiastic attitude, keen to learn
- Good communication skills
- Organised and methodical with excellent time management skills
- A solid CV with working history showing commitment and loyalty to an employer
