Full time Electrical Teacher, Harlow, Essex

Your new company

Working on behalf of one of the UK's most prestigious colleges, based in Harlow, Essex, UK. Our client is looking for Electrical Professionals who are looking to move into teaching. As an educator, you will be teaching a diverse group of learners for 16- 19-year-olds, and you may be asked to teach adults or apprentices.

Your new role
The level of courses you will teach include Level 2 and Level 3. Level 2 courses are usually considered intermediate, while Level 3 courses are more advanced and often equivalent to vocational or technical education.
In addition to teaching on full-time courses, you may also have the opportunity to teach apprenticeships at Level 3. Apprenticeships are a form of employment-based training, allowing students to work and study simultaneously to gain practical experience and industry-specific skills. Students on apprenticeship courses attend college 1 day per week and attend work 4 days.
A critical aspect of your teaching role would involve understanding and addressing student learning needs. This includes recognising individual differences, adapting teaching strategies, providing appropriate support, and facilitating inclusive learning environments to ensure students can effectively engage with the course material and achieve their learning goals.
