About the Role:
As a Geography Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Geography teachers and helping students excel in their studies. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience and make a real impact in a dynamic educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Geography teachers with lesson preparation and delivery
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students during lessons
- Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
- Support students with their coursework and homework assignments
- Assist with the organisation of Geography-related activities and field trips
- Contribute to the development of engaging and interactive teaching materials
- Provide additional support to students with varying learning needs
Requirements:
- A degree in Geography or a related field
- Strong knowledge and passion for Geography
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting teaching and learning
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- A DBS check on the update service (essential)
