Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Workshop Assistant based in Chelmsford on a temporary to permanent basis.
The successful will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of parts to build vehicle bodies.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Measuring parts and materials
Cutting materials and parts
Assembling parts and components
Assisting in the manufacture vehicle bodies
Using hand tools and power tools
Using machinery
Working from drawings
Working with maximum precision
Other general engineering/workshop duties as required
Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications:
Experience and knowledge of using hand tools and power tools
Ideally some engineering/practical experience
Ability to read and work from drawings
Excellent attention to detail
Working hours are Monday - Thursday 07:00 - 17:30 (4 day working week).
In return our client offers a salary of up to 12.50 per hour which may be negotiable depending on experience.
