To do this role, you will need:
- Good theoretical and practical problem-solving skills
- A broad mechanical engineering knowledge
- An understanding of how engineering components operate and might fail
- Basic knowledge of tribology and the role of the subject in all moving systems
- Customer focus (excellent written and verbal communication)
- Knowhow of different techniques of root cause failure analysis
- The ability of using scanning electron microscope (SEM) or various optical microscopes
Criteria to apply:
- 2.1 (and above) degree in mechanical engineering
Please note, a successful candidate is likely to be a recent graduate or up to 2 years post-graduate experience.
