We are looking for a bright, friendly and enthusiastic Trainee Surveyor to join our team based near Huntingdon with this position suiting a candidate looking to pursue a career as surveyor and willing to undertake day to day surveying along with the necessary training work towards becoming a qualified.
Vacancy Description for the Trainee Surveyor
As a Trainee Surveyor you will be providing essential administrative and technical support to the team whilst gaining valuable experience of the role of a surveyor. The work will be varied and carried out in the office and on site, as well as involving visits to client and consultant offices.
As a Trainee Surveyor your duties will include, but not be limited to the following:
Shadowing surveyors
As above but assisting where experience allows
Attending internal and external team, progress and client meetings
Preparing design and contract documentation.
Arranging meetings.
Attending site and taking notes and photographs, measuring and generally assisting
Data entry
General office admin duties
Candidate Essential Requirements for the Trainee Surveyor:
Skills Required:
Competent user of MS Office Word, Excel and Powerpoint programmes
Self-starter
Analytical skills
Good communication skills
Ability to work under pressure
Must be able to manage time and prioritise work/instructions effectively
