The School and Role

A secondary school in the East Riding of Yorkshire seek to a Graduate Teacher from September 2024. The successful Graduate Teacher will work as Cover Supervisor, covering secondary school classes of all subjects. As a Cover Supervisor you will not be expected to a subject specialist in the classes you cover, your responsibility will be to deliver the lesson and ensure pupils are kept on task. Full training can be provided by Vision For Education.

The school would be keen to hear from candidates that are available on a part time, full time or flexible basis. This role will be perfectly suited to graduates considering teacher training in the future.

This secondary school is based in a coastal town in the East Of Yorkshire. Cover Supervisors are offered a comprehensive support structure with help from teachers and senior leaders alike.

Requirements

The desired Cover Supervisor will have;

- An interest in working in education and with young people

- Degree or A-level Education

- a resilient, adaptable and motivated personalilty

- An ability to work as part of a team
