Job Title: CNC Miller

Location: Peterborough

Working for a British Engineering company making bespoke manufacturing and processing equipment.

Role Overview:

As a CNC Miller you will manufacture parts following drawings, that are used in the assembly shop or with customers direct orders.

This is not a closed shop.

Role Responsibilities:

  • You will handle both manual and CNC milling machines.
  • You will conduct self-inspections of produced parts.
  • You will adhere to the defined schedule.
  • Work within the planned timeframes.
  • Keep the work area safe and tidy.
  • Understand and follow all company Health & Safety policies and procedures, including reporting any relevant information to management.
  • Recognise and exemplify the company values and behaviors.

Required Skills:

  • Attention to Quality.
  • Able to work night shifts and open to working overtime as needed.
  • High self-motivation.
  • Fully versed in Milling experience.
  • Interpret engineering drawings.
  • Teamwork is an essential.
  • Flexibility with tasks.

Desired Skills:

  • Lean and 5s experience.
  • Haas experience will be preferred but not essential.
  • Offer improvement ideas.
  • Recognised engineering apprenticeships.

Salary & Benefits:

Depending on experience and depends on apprenticeship.

Shift Pattern:

Monday to Thursday 7.00am - 04.15pm

Friday 7.00am - 12.00pm

40 Hour week
