Trainee SENCO

An "Outstanding" Primary in the heart of Redbridge are looking for a Trainee SENCO for a January 2025 start. This will be a full-time & permanent post paid directly through the school.

The school currently has a fantastic SENCO, who is also the Deputy Head Teacher however after a slight role change (more responsibility higherup the School) they've now decided to appoint a trainee SENCO, who shall work under the Deputy Head Teacher.

You shall be supporting / leading SEN interventions, working with professionals, completing EHCP's, reporting SLT, providing training to support staff / teachers about supporting SEN, and much more.

Please note - This will predominantly be an out of class role, HOWEVER you may be asked to cover absent teachers in required. The School are willing to also pay for the successful candidates SENCO qualification.

The School are ideally looking for a Primary Teacher who is eager to venture into the world of SEN, and has a real passion to make a difference daily. The School are keen to mould someone, and help them grow / develop.
