Polytec are looking for a Trainee Solderer for our client based south of Cambridge. You will be trained to solder and learn the skills required for PCB assembly within a production environment, gaining knowledge of IPC and ISO standards. You will need to have your own transport for this role due to the remote location.
Responsibilities:
Soldering Surface Mount (SMT) components and plated through hole (PTH) to the J-STD-001 / IPC-610 standards
Product assembly
Requirements:
Keen to learn
Good manual dexterity
Team worker with good communication skills
Driving licence with own transport
