THE ROLE - Trainee Merchandiser
- After a thorough induction and training programme, you will progress into a field / branch based merchandising role
- Merchandising and helping improve awareness for an award winning range of roof windows and rooflights
- Working alongside an established sales team, and supporting an established network of building, roofing and timber merchants
- Working with key branches to ensure your products are being stocked, displayed and proactively promoted
- Whilst ensuring your products have the best positioning within the store, and that point-of-sales and marketing material is clearly visible
- This role is a natural stepping stone into the field sales team, should that be a direction you choose to follow
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT:
- Firstly and most importantly you will be professional and articulate with first class communication skills
- Applicants with some merchant or construction related experience will be readily received
- Although this is not essential, and applicants with merchandsing experience within FMCG or a general retail sales environment will be equally well received
- Either way you will be self-motivated and able to work off your own initiative, with strong organisational and time management skills
