TSR are looking for a Trainee Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a large Facilities Management company to cover an ongoing contract at University Hospital Wales in Cardiff.
You will be given plenty of support and guidance by the senior engineers, as well as being given the opportunity to gain recognised mechanical and electrical qualifications, making this a progressive role where operatives will be able to build a fulfilling career.
The role
Our client has an ongoing ventilation service & maintenance contract at UHW where engineers must run tests to validate the airflow on all AAU's around the hospital and complete paperwork accordingly
Working hours are 8:30am - 5:00pm
Salary will depend on previous experience but paying between 23,000 - 25,000
The candidate
This role would suit someone with general handyman/maintenance experience or at least a general interest in facilities maintenance or mechanical engineering.
There is an opportunity for a full apprenticeship for school-leavers or on-the-job training for more mature candidates
No prior industry-related qualifications are required
