Job Title: Trainee machine operator Job type: Temp to perm Working hours: Full time, day shift Job location: Kettering Salary: £11.40 Interaction Recruitment is currently recruiting for a machine operator to join one of our manufacturing clients based in Kettering. This role would suit a self-starter with the ability to work autonomously or in a small team. You will be responsible for day to day running of a Brausse die cutting machine, ensuring output and quality meets the expected company standards. Some of your duties will be: Set up machine. Quality checks against production samples. Ensure outputs are as expected, meeting the specified run rates. Maintain the machine to avoid down time. Record machine daily outputs. Complete the daily Health &Safety sheet. General housekeeping. Skills required: Good problem-solver with the ability to solve technical and mechanical issues logically. Previous experience in running machinery in a manufacturing environment. Mechanically/ technically minded.
