Are you looking for an exciting entry into a career as an Engineer where you will be installing and maintaining electronic devices and equipment in a role offering plenty of training and multiple progression paths?
In this role you will be assisting the Installation and Service teams to learn the technical skills required to become an autonomous Service Engineer. This will involve travelling around the West Midlands and occasionally further down south. A development plan will be laid out to ensure the direction you want to take your career in is supported, including external manufacturer training.
This growing SME supply, sell and service a broad range of office equipment. They have plans to rapidly grow across the UK, recently opening two new sites to keep up with demand. They have a number of Blue Chip clients on their books and are highly regarded for their maintenance contracts, offering quick response times and professional service.
This role would suit an apprentice leaver, trainee engineer or similar looking to work with electronic and mechanical devices in a role offering tailored training through shadowing senior team members and external courses.
The Role:
- Supporting Engineers with installation and maintenance
- Driving to customer sites through the West Midlands and occasionally further afield
- Full training through shadowing senior engineer
The Person:
- Trainee, Junior or aspiring Service Engineer
- B-TEC, or NVQ, or HNC or HND in Engineering
- Hobbies, interests or work experience of 'hands on' Engineering (can include tinkering with electronics, mechanical devices or other equipment)
