Trainee CNC Machinist (College Leaver)
25,000 - 26,000 + Optional Overtime (OTE 30k - 35k) + Days Based + Training

Are you a college leaver with hands on CNC Machine experience looking to join a long-standing precision engineering company who are offering a days-based role, with plenty of training to expand your skillset and large amounts of optional overtime available to boost your earnings?
On offer is an opportunity to work at a highly accomplished precision engineering company, working primarily within the Aerospace, Automotive, and Defence industries. They have been established since the early 1960's, and due to their continued success are looking to bring in another employee to become a part of the close-knit team. In this role you will have the valuable opportunity to receive plenty of training, specifically on programming languages such as Fanuc.
In this role you will have tasks such as setting, operating, and programming lathes and turners. You will be working on multi axial turning machinery, such as Swiss, Doosan Puma, and Citizen sliding head lathes, with plenty of training giving on all aspects of this role. There is plenty of optional overtime available paid at 1.5x.
This role would suit a Junior CNC Machinist, looking for a days-based role within a highly successful precision engineering company, where you will receive valuable training to kickstart your career and expand upon your skillset.
The Role:
- Setting, operating, and programming CNC machinery, primarily lathes
- Working on Doosan Puma, Citizen, and Swiss machines
- Producing complex precision components to the highest quality standards
- Training on CNC programming and all other methods
- Monday to Thursday, 37.5 hours a week, 7:50am - 4:20pm, finish at 1pm on Friday
