NXTGEN is working on an exciting Trainee Accountant position on behalf of a fantastic and very reputable client based in Ipswich. This is the perfect role for someone who is currently working in practice and wants to gain more exposure with clients, have uncapped progression opportunities, or have 121 support from some of the best Accountants in the market. The successful Trainee Accountant will be getting involved in assisting with Management Accounts preparations and Financial Forecasts, support with reviewing financial accounts and Tax compliance's, whilst working closely with clients to support their needs. You will be a main point of contact for your clients, where you will really get to know them and support Senior team on advisory work. As an Trainee Accountant, you will be a key member of Accounts operations, working closely with the Senior team to gain invaluable hands-on experience and exposure to a wide range of clients and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in preparing Management Accounts and Financial forecasts for a diverse client base
  • Supporting the team with Tax compliance
  • Engaging with clients, helping to answer and solve queries
  • Support with Cloud Accounting tasks whilst supporting with Financial Accounts reviews
