Job Overview:

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports. Learn to analyse financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Tax Compliance: Gain exposure to tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax returns. Work closely with senior accountants to ensure compliance with local and national tax laws.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the budgeting process by assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Learn to analyse variances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Audit Support: Participate in internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation, reconciling accounts, and assisting in the resolution of audit findings.
  • Financial Analysis: Develop skills in financial analysis to assess the company's financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Software Proficiency: Utilize accounting software and tools effectively to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software is a plus.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
