Our client is a manufacturer of Lighting, Lighting Controls and Building Intelligence solutions across the UK. Due to significant growth over the last 3 years, they are looking to recruit a recent graduate who is looking to build a career in sales, and looking for a business who offers great training and development.
The Role
Upon joining the business, you will endure a rigorous training programme which will involve product training in Germany, process training at the head office in Peterborough, and one to one on the job training from your line manager the Regional Sales Manager. Once you re up and running, your
responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Calling on existing wholesalers across the North of England and occasional trips to Scotland
- Working to predetermined sales targets
- Prospecting & opening new accounts
- Demonstrating & selling specific ranges + displays
- Managing all aspects of account management
- Daily reporting via CRM
- Weekly/Monthly reports to line manager
- Trade days and shows when required
The Person
Working in sales can be tough, so we re looking for people who are proactive, tenacious, resilient, energetic, hardworking, strong communicators and above all self-motivated. Large elements of the role will require you to work from home and/or on the road unaccompanied, so it is imperative you are able to remain focussed and disciplined. Fresh graduates will be considered, but we re also interested in candidates with a maximum of 2 years post graduate work experience but still looking for their long-term career.
