Job Title: Refractory Bricklayer
Location: Greater Manchester
Job Type: Full-Time
Working Hours: Monday - Friday

Perpetual Engineering are currently working in partnership with a progressive industry leader in the design, build and installation of complex combustion systems with a UK headquarters in Manchester. The business is a part of a well-respected US based corporation who employ 11,000 people in more than 25 countries. The UK arm of the business have recently been awarded several high value capital projects and the group are now looking to invest in recruiting ambitious and driven individuals into the business to help deliver. The business is seeking a Refractory Bricklayer to work as part of manufacturing workshop at their main site.
Responsibilities of the Refractory Bricklayer within the business include: -
Bricklaying, including straight walls, interlocking brickwork, and arches
Able read refractory and steelwork drawings
Installing Insulation material
Stick welding anchors
Wooden shuttering for preparation of pours
Use of ceramic fibre insulation
Abrasive wheel experience
Qualifications & Experience:
Ideally an apprenticeship with bricklaying experience. For people with good bricklaying experience training can potentially be given on other areas.
