We are looking to recruit 2 x Progress Mentor to support the Apprenticeship Academy on a fixed term basis until 31 July 2022.

The Apprenticeship Progress Mentor is responsible to the Head of Compliance for ensuring high quality apprentice and employer support in order that the significant majority of college apprentices are onboarded effectively, attend off the job training sessions, make good progress and ultimately are ready to pass through Gateway and end point assessment (EPA) to achieve in a timely manner. Team working and communications within an overall approach that values people will be of key importance.
In August 2021, Highbury College and Portsmouth College merged to form the City of Portsmouth College. The new organisation is a general further education college in Portsmouth, Hampshire, England. Total income is c£30m in 2021-22.
It provides vocational and academic education and training, from first-step courses to university level foundation degrees, specialised services for business and education in the community. Courses include A Levels, vocational diplomas (BTECs), GCSEs, Foundation Degrees, Apprenticeships and unaccredited leisure courses.
The College has more than 55 years of experience during which time it has built a strong reputation for both academic, technical and professional programmes. It also has close relationships with those working in various industries which ensure the ever-changing needs of employers in the area are met.
