Reed have been engaged to support a leading chartered accountancy firm in Dorset who specialise in tax, business & personal accountancy and financial planning.
They are looking for a Paraplanner to be based in their Ferndown office. Working as a team, the Paraplanner should support the Financial Planner, along with Directors and Management, in their endeavours to provide high quality advice and service to their individual, corporate, and trust clients. The Paraplanner should have an awareness of business flow and maintain high standards of accuracy utilising available software or technological resources wherever possible.
About the role:
• Write Suitability Letters (SLs) within the agreed timeframes and liaise with Advisors• Maintain Advice Sets and update case status• Maintain and share paraplanning knowledge to effectively progress cases• Identify problems and opportunities to improve the paraplanning process and contribute to a continuous improvement culture• Contribute to operational procedures and quality improvement initiatives• Manage workflow capacity (in-house and outsource) and on weekly teamwork allocation• Liaise with Advisers and communicate case updates and required information• Deputise as needed in stakeholder management (e.g., Adviser update meetings) and workflow management
• Understanding of the Financial Planning process• Able to work within defined business processes• Ability to achieve agreed outcomes without supervision• Working towards or achievement of Level 4
Would also consider applications from trainee paraplanners who are in the process of their level 4 qualification.
