Insurance Account Manager & Trainee Account Executive - full training given

3 A Levels including Maths
6 GGCSES including Maths and English
This position is for a dedicated, enthusiastic, conscientious person, who is interested in protecting businesses.
Key aspects of the role are:

Advising business leaders on how to manage risk;

Providing solutions to help them deal with risk;
-
Designing robust, value for money, corporate insurance portfolios, so that in the event of a disaster, a business has
appropriate support and financial protection, to enable the organisation to recover and prosper;

Managing corporate insurance portfolios.
The initial position available is as an Account Manager. Principally, you will be responsible for servicing corporate clients, which includes but is not limited to: taking instructions from clients; advising clients; negotiating insurance premiums and terms with underwriters; processing policy amendments; checking, producing and issuing documentation; and handling claims. The position will provide a platform for you to develop into a reliable insurance practitioner.
Subsequently, a Trainee Account Executive role will be offered to you, subject to:

The Account Manager role being performed to a good standard;

You being thorough, industrious, ethical and reliable;

You qualifying by examination to become an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) ;

You showing the skills and positive caring attitude required to succeed as an Account Executive in our business.
An Account Executive's duties include, but are not limited to:

Visiting clients and prospective clients;
-
Conducting site surveys/inspections;
-
Assessing the risks to which companies are exposed;
-
Providing advice to companies on how to deal with risk;
-
Issuing reports on risks and insurance portfolios;
-
Designing insurance portfolios;
-
Producing risk presentations for submission to insurers;
-
Negotiating with underwriters;
-
Presenting reports to clients and prospective clients;
-
Working with and training Account Managers.
You will need:

This is a very challenging and responsible position. It will take you a minimum of 3 years working as an Account Manager, to gain the knowledge, experience and ACII qualification before you are ready to progress to a Trainee Account Executive role.
