Pay rate: 80- 95 per day
Empowering Learning is recruiting Graduates to support a number of schools in Lewisham as Teaching Assistants. Your role will be to support pupils inside the classroom and others with different SEND needs, some needs you will be supporting are Complex Needs, Autism and ADHD. Experience in supporting pupils with SEND needs is desirable but is not essential.
Job Responsibilities
- Comfortable supporting pupils with various Learning Difficulties
- Ability to engage and support pupils
- Assist with personal care if needed
- Supervising pupils behaviour

Job Requirements
- Experience in supporting children or young adults with SEND needs is desirable but is not essential
- Able to stay calm and de-escalate challenging Behaviour
- Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
- Available 5 days a week and able to commit to at least 2-6 months
