We are currently recruiting for Estimating Apprentices to join a national house builder, across the West Midlands.


As an Estimating Trainee, you will assist the Estimating and wider Commercial team by carrying out related activities including the production of accurate cost information whilst receiving an introduction and training to Estimating practice.

On Offer:

Salary is £19,000 - £21,000 (Annually reviewed)

Attend college and obtain an NVQ/Apprenticeship


Assist the Estimator in the production of accurate cost information, helping to evaluate the risks and cost of construction abnormalities in formulating the budget.
Understand and support with updating construction budgets on a regular basis and preparing a schedule of standard house type prices for land feasibility purposes.
Liaise with Architects/Design Engineers on matters of preliminary Design and Engineering solutions.
Assist with the maintaining and updating of the Estimating Cost Library, through discussions with Buyers and Quantity Surveyors.
Analyse and record trade tender return information, assisting the Estimator in the assessment of new or alternative products.Qualifications:

4 GCSEs A-C/4-9. Two of these should be Maths and English.
A minimum of a Level 3/BTEC Diploma/2 A Levels.
Full and valid driving licence.Advantage:
