Electrical Engineer (Industrial Factory)
Location: Hull, East Yorkshire
Monday to Friday days-based role for thee majority of the year, moving onto shifts for 6 - 8 weeks

An opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Engineer / Technician to work on regular days for 90% of the year. Reporting to the Site Maintenance Manager, you will have the opportunity to join a growing department on a unique industrial processing / manufacturing site. Does this Sound like You?
•Trained to an Electrical minimum craft level, NVQ Level 3 / ONC, HND Level preferred - any industry, heavier industry of
•3-Phase, Panel Fault Finding and Basic PLC Understanding preferred but not essential
•Any Plc experience will be considered but full training will be given
•Production / Process experience on high speed equipment in FMCG is preferred, but not essential
Experience of industrial services - plant, HVAC, steam, cold store preferred
Must be able to solve problems, undertake risk assessments and produce safe systems of work.
Should be capable of contributing to the design, development, manufacture, commissioning, decommissioning, operation or maintenance of products, equipment, process or services.

This role is responsible for a combination of planned/reactive maintenance and technical challenges to ensure maximum line efficiency with accountability to deliver both planned and reactive maintenance services during peak production in the summer months. Capable of leading from the front within a team ensuring the efficient running of a continuous process.
Monitor plant operational efficiency, reliability and capability of all plant and equipment, identifying areas of under-performance or opportunity and implement plans to deliver improvement projects.
Agree preventative electrical maintenance plans, machine design modifications, and operating & changeover procedures
Use the maintenance system and resource to ensure that all agreed maintenance and improvement work is completed
Recommend and implement electrical changes to machine operation and maintenance procedures
Recommend and deliver improvements to machine design
Ensure maintenance works planned to minimise impact on production operations
Qualifications and Skills
•Apprentice trained in an engineering discipline, experience as a Craftsman
•HNC / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical maintenance engineering
•Extensive Electrical Experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing systems
