Job Description

We are WhiteHat, the tech startup matching young people to the best career-focused apprenticeships on offer. The vacancy you are looking at is a Digital Marketing Apprentice role at UKIE.

The Digital Marketing Apprentice will play a lead role informing the games industry about the big issues facing the sector, promoting what Ukie does to games businesses and policymakers and making sure as many people as possible are attending the London Games Festival.

The company

Ukie, pronounced you-key, (UK Interactive Entertainment) is the only trade body for the UK’s games and interactive entertainment industry. UKIE represent the wider UK games industry. They are a not-for-profit and represent businesses of all sizes from small start-ups to large multinational developers, publishers and service companies, working across online, mobile apps, consoles, PC, eSports, VR and AR.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE Mathematics grade C-A* (or 4-9) or level 2 functional skill.
  • Ideally, we are looking for recent school leavers and non-graduates for the role.

Location: near Russell Square underground station, London.

  • Creation of shareable, eye-catching content across social media and other channels
  • Writing copy for websites
  • Assisting with the production of other shareable digital content such as newsletters, video, podcasts etc
  • Assisting with project campaigns to reach different audiences

Hours are 9 am to 5:30 pm, Monday-Friday.

As part of your WhiteHat Apprenticeship, you will have access to our Future Leaders Foundation modules to develop 6 key competencies, underpinned by: wellbeing, self-awareness, motivation, conscientiousness, effectiveness, grit.
