Due to our growth plans we have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Administration Apprentice.

This is an exciting, new opportunity to work for a well-established, family-owned Joinery business with 145 years' experience in the industry.

The purpose of this newly created role is to assist the Administration Manager, and to provide end-to-end administration support for our busy Joinery office.

Salary: Competitive rate of apprentice pay.

About the Business Administration Apprentice Role:

Being an Administrator is not just about knowing how to use a computer, although, clearly, that is one of the requirements of the role.
Good Administrators anticipate potential issues before they arise (and stop them from doing so), they are good at joined-up thinking and looking at the impact a change in one process can have on another, they possess excellent spelling and numeracy skills, they can work to a deadline and not become flustered, they are incredibly adaptable and, above all they remain friendly, yet professional with all of their client base.
We are offering a Business Administrator Level 3 apprenticeship. You will be trained and assessed onsite and will not be required to attend college/day release.
Business Administration Apprentice Requirements:

The skills you will already have will encompass being a proficient user of Word, Excel and Outlook, and have a willingness to learn (or have some experience of) Powerpoint and bespoke software packages and great interpersonal skills including a good telephone manner. You will also have an interest in professional social media usage, including LinkedIn and Facebook.

You will be well presented, highly motivated, possess an eye for detail and quality and willing to work and learn within a close-knit team. You will also be exceptionally well organised, adaptable and possess a thirst for knowledge and learning.

The successful candidate will become a vital and intrinsic part of the joinery team and will become the "go to" person for all joinery administration enquires, together with providing excellent administrative support. Interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn are fundamental requirements of this role.

To be considered for this role you must have English and Maths at A* - C or grades 4-9 in GCSE/O Level (or equivalent).
