About this Apprenticeship

Our client is now looking for a Business Administration Apprentice to join their team!

Internally know as a Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for the data entry and completing administrative duties on Oracle to support dispatch and delivery of products. Clerk will also support audit processes for Planning and Purchasing departments and with tasks such as data entry, freight claims, filing and other office duties.

Salary: National Minimum Wage

Hours of Work: 39 hours per week, 8-4:40 Monday to Thursday and 8-3:30 Friday

As this is an Apprenticeship position, no previous experience is needed. However, the successful candidate will have:

  • GCSE qualifications or equivalent
  • Confident Microsoft excel skills
  • Good communication (verbal/non-verbal)
  • Must be a responsible self-starter with strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and written communication skills

Business Administration Apprentice Duties:

  • Transfers goods to UKS to UKM to achieve sale (Oracle)
  • Administrative duties to support office
  • Archiving of ageing documentation
  • Liaise with different departments to ensure efficient use of resources available
  • Provides dates to customer services on product locations
  • Ensuring that all work schedules are planned and completed in accordance with contractual agreed delivery times and team KPI requirements.
  • Liaises with Logistics for dispatch planning
  • Assisting with product queries
  • Compile and maintain a log of all dispatched product
  • Identify trends across the weeks and months to prepare for busier periods in the future
  • Assist with the production of data sheets, SOP's, user manuals and technical documentation where required.
  • Liaise with customer services for reasons behind doors unable to be delivered and find solutions to dispatch all FQC'd doors.
  • Completing all paperwork / electronic information accurately
  • Maintain facility office in a clean and orderly condition
  • Other duties as assigned

Alongside these duties, you will be working towards gaining a recognised Level 3 Business Administration qualification through your Apprenticeship.
