We are a leading manufacturer of composite components. Our broad client base spans across many global industries including Motorsport, Defence, Aerospace, Industrial, Medical, Marine and Automotive.
What will the apprentice be doing?
Duties to include…. Select appropriate techniques, procedures, and methods to undertake part manufacture Handle composite materials and follow established safety procedures Understand storage of composite materials Understanding of different types of resins Bonding and Assembly Carbon & Metallic Moulds tool making and preparation Manufacture individual components Identify and select appropriate materials required ensuring satisfactory progress and completion of projects
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Attendance will be one day per week at college. You will receive the Composites Technician Level 3 standard apprenticeship qualification, upon successful completion.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Once successfully completed the apprenticeship, there is the potential to progress into full time employment, or into a higher-level apprenticeship - or potentially, both
