Spirit AeroSystems are now recruiting direct to the permanent workforce to support the ramp up of production across our range of products including our award winning, composite aircraft wings.
We are actively seeking skilled aircraft fitters and sheet metal workers to join the team.
To join this growing family, you'll have:
Completed a recognised mechanical engineering apprenticeship, This includes: Motor Mechanics, Sheetmetal workers, Coach Builders, Coppersmiths, Aircraft Technicians, Mechanical & Maintenance Fitters, Panel Beaters, Metal Pattern Makers, Toolfitters, Car Body Operators, Boiler Makers, Machinists, Pipe Fitters, Diesel Fitters and Plumbers.
· 4 years' practical experience in one of the backgrounds detailed above and a relevant qualification
After initial product training your role will involve checking kit parts to drawing schedules, manufacturing a range of aerospace hardware to a high standard and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
You'll also need to be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and be happy to work a range of shifts plus overtime, as required, at any of Spirit AeroSystems Northern Ireland sites.
